Power over Coax (PoC) transmits both the video signal, control data (PTZ) and also the supply voltage for the cameras. Only one cable is needed. For a long time, IP technology with PoE, Power over Ethernet, had a clear competitive advantage.
However, the „classic“ coaxial technology has caught up with PoC: with PoC, transmission distances of up to 400 m at 4 MP are possible, with PoE, 100 m is the end.

To implement a PoC video surveillance system, you need a PoC-compatible lunaHD recorder and PoC-compatible cameras, such as the L-KA-2901-P-D. Of course, this camera model is also available in white. But it is also possible to combine a non-PoC-capable lunaHD recorder with the L-MS-2804 feed system – this way the system becomes PoC-capable.
